Dr.
Dr. Jef Williams is an inspiring, award-winning speaker, author, and facilitator who is committed to helping leaders and managers build high performing teams that produce better results for their organization. He authored the book, “Leadership-Followership 360: How to Create Accountable, Flexible, and Dynamic Teams” because he firmly believes that when leaders and those who follow them bring their “A Game” to the table, nothing can stop them from succeeding as a team. Today, Dr. Jef the “Transformer,” inspires audiences to renew their minds through his pragmatic approach to dynamic teamwork through exemplary leadership and followership.
Dr. Jef grew up in Baltimore, MD and it wasn’t until years after being in the military that he recognized his God-gifted talent as a speaker and motivator. He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years and attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant which is reserved for the top one percent of the enlisted force. On January 1, 2009, he retired from the Air Force.
After retirement, Dr. Jef found JCW Consultants, LLC, a company specializing in maximizing human performance and productivity. As a keynote and motivational speaker, he traveled throughout the country inspiring his audiences to go beyond self-imposed barriers, recognize their unique gifts and talents.
As if he isn’t busy enough, Dr. Jef serves as the Senior Pastor of New Christian Fellowship Church in Fairview Heights, IL. He provides spiritual guidance through teaching and weekly sermons and oversees the development and implementation of various ministries designed to help individuals’ spiritual growth.
He currently serves as the Executive Director for the Christian Activity Center (CAC) in East St. Louis, IL. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Delta Epsilon Lambda Chapter, East St. Louis, IL) where he serves on various committees, and is a board member for the Metro East St Louis Community Initiative.
Dr. Jef holds a PhD (with distinction) in Organization and Management with a specialization in Leadership from Capella University, a Master of Arts Degree in Religion (Cum Laude) from Liberty Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from National Louis University. In addition, he earned Toastmaster's International highest award - Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
