God comes first in my life. I’m from a tough part of St. Louis and made it out by going to college to play football, but an injury shifted my path. I then joined the Air Force, where I conducted airborne surveillance during the day and taught myself to code at night, also working towards earning my BASc in Applied Computing.
After separating from the military, I began my career as a software engineer, grew steadily, and now work as a Cloud Engineer at Amazon (AWS). I recently completed my M.S. in Finance at Georgetown University while also working on my degree in the evenings. I'll be 26 this September.
